Site Description	White Bear Unitarian Universalist Church is a thriving, healthy church that remembers its small roots, yet has a robust membership that shows up and says yes to each other. This is a church that has gone through a lot of changes over the past 5 years, staff changes, the pandemic, and energy is building here. We have many visitors each Sunday, and we continue to commit to widen our welcome. Our mission is "Together, we grow our souls and serve the world." We do this by committing to do the work of dismantling oppressions and responding to the cries of the world. We have an active social action network, Pink Haven group that is part of our refugee immigrant action committee, and a facing race committee. This is a congregation that has a history of being a teaching congregation, they love supporting ministers on their journeys.
Job Description	You will have an opportunity to explore what parish ministry looks like in a 600 member church. You will attend staff meetings, board meetings, worship meetings, stewardship meetings, and our Wednesday evening dinners/programming. You will have opportunities to lead programs such as our elders group, Wellspring, and insert something you are passionate about here! There is a possibility of attending Prairie Group study group. You will be strongly encouraged to attend the Prairie Star Retreat as well.
