Site Description Since 1860 First Universalist Church, Yarmouth has been a community of caring people who seek common ground while honoring each individual’s unique stance. Our mission is to explore our faith, embrace our community, and engage the world as spiritual seekers. We are a Welcoming Congregation and are committed to being an anti-racist organization. Worship Services are held on Sundays during the school year at 10:30am from September through June. We also hold simple summer services in August. All of our services happen live, in person, in our sanctuary, are broadcast on Zoom, and are recorded and posted on YouTube and on our website. Our congregation is currently growing and welcoming about 85 -100 people and 10-15 children on any given Sunday. We are centered in joy and justice and celebrate many special rituals together including our Friday night Dinner Church, Lectio Divinia, and Vespers as well as annual events like our Sand Communion, Maine Farm Suppers, Animal Blessing, Pi(e) Day, and New Years Pancake Sunday.
