We are a congregation of approximately 475 members with a religious education enrollment of 150 children and youth. We have rich programming in the areas of worship, music, religious education for children and youth, and membership. Our innovative programs includes our Immigrant Justice Initiative which accompanies and houses asylum seekers and a Campus Ministry program at UNC Chapel Hill. We have a robust Our Whole Lives OWL ministry that offers OWL to five age levels. Funding for this internship is provided from the Kast Ministerial Development Fund, named for our late Minister Emeritus, Charlie Kast, who left his estate to our congregation.

The Intern Minister will have the opportunity to preach and lead worship, offer pastoral care, lead adult programs, work on social justice programs, be involved in religious education, and participate in governance, stewardship, and administration.
