Site Description	The First Church and Parish in Dedham was founded as a Puritan Church in 1638. The historical Dedham Decision in 1818 made us Unitarian. We are an active, small, growing congregation striving to be a progressive and liberal welcoming voice in our town. We are actively helping migrants to our community and working to dismantle racism within our town. Dedham would offer many opportunities for preaching and community activism to a developing minister.
Job Description	Half-time UU Ministerial Intern Will preach and assist with worship one to two times per month Assist with Religious education (UU Explorers Program) Teach Adult Religious Education Participate in Parish Committee Meetings Monthly Help facilitate Staff Meetings Work collaboratively with the Music Director and UUEP Director Participate and take an active leadership role in Community groups. Complete whatever goals the intern has.
