Site Description The Unitarian Universalist Maine Collaborative Ministry Program (CMP) consists of three UU congregations in Maine: UU churches in Belfast, Castine and Ellsworth. Together, the three churches constitute a membership of about 300 members. All three congregations maintain on-site and on-line ministry and worship services. The mission of the CMP is to nurture excellence in ministry and to explore new approaches of engaged faith through collaboration. To that end, our Internship is meant to nurture and support future UU ministers in a multi-site setting.
Job Description The Collaborative Ministry Intern will work with two ministers (Rev. Sara Hayman, and Rev. Amy Fiorilli) and three congregations to gain experience in all areas of church life. The primary site this year is the UU Church of Ellsworth, Maine, however, each congregation offers the Intern learning and ministry experiences that are unique to that congregation. There will be opportunities for worship, preaching, pastoral care, teaching, administration, Lifespan Faith Development, social justice work and community-building. There is some flexibility to build on one's strengths and/or to cultivate new skills.

Application Procedure Send letter of interest, a sermon, cv and three references to Rev. Amy Fiorilli at amyfiorilli@gmail.com. Candidates will receive a brief telephone conversation. Finalists will have a Zoom Interview with ministers and one or two lay leaders.
