Site Description	Beacon is located in the heart of Summit, a suburban community of New York City, and actively involved in our Interfaith Council. Our mission is to be a radically inclusive religious community that feeds the human spirit and heals the world. We were early adopters to the 8th Principle, which is rooted in our congregational covenant and our governance. We are an innovative congregation. In 2016, we adopted a collaborative ministry model with two called ministers and our Executive Director forming our lead ministry team (LMT). In 2022, we bought a property one mile away with plans underway to build a new campus there for our growing congregation, and we started a supporting organization, Beacon Hope & Equity, committed to decolonizing wealth.
Job Description	Beacon has a long history as and a commitment to being a teaching congregation. We are seeking an intern who will learn from our innovative ways of embodying congregational life and who will also help us innovate, specifically by helping us develop and execute a plan for new online community engagement.
