Site Description	The Unitarian Church of Montreal is a Unitarian Universalist community of about 250 members, families and friends, offering many ways to nurture spiritual development and to participate in justice-making. Ours is a pluralist community welcoming agnostics, atheists, people with deep religious faith, and spiritual seekers. We strive to be radically inclusive and have made a conscious commitment to anti-racism. We encourage all applications, especially from those who are members of traditionally marginalized communities. We are located in a bilingual city, but work mostly in English. Speaking French is a plus, but not a requirement. As the oldest Unitarian congregation in Canada, we hope to play a major role in nurturing learning in UU ministry for the wider movement. We are in a unique position to offer an ideal internship site thanks to our strong leadership, ministry, staff and the diverse environment of Montreal. In addition, we have recently installed an extensive audio-visual system, which provides an excellent opportunity to develop multi-platform worship skills.
Job Description	The intern determines the areas where they need to develop, in consultation with the supervisor and internship committee. Our goal is to enable the intern to experience all aspects of congregational ministry, so that when they leave our internship site they are particularly prepared to serve as a parish minister, or in other areas of ministry.
