Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church is a growing congregation with a rich history as a teaching congregation and a distinguished record in the area of social justice and high quality worship. This is a congregation with an aging core of dedicated long-term members and an emerging body of families. Co-ministers David and Leslie Takahashi Morris were called to ministry in April 2008 with the charge to build community, increase the justice activity and deepen connections. The church recently completed a major building project and has the opportunity to expand programming on its campus which is located at the edge of an open space in a suburban community of 60,000. The website, which is being redesigned, offers more details on the growing range of programming. The church is developing policies to assist in its governance and is in the third year of implementing a Council structure.
