| Site Description | The Unitarian Universalist Church, Rockford, is a large growing mid-sized church. Located in an urban area, we serve a regional and diverse population. We are beginning a new era after a long ministry with a new Senior Minister and DRE in 2008. The congregation is moving from a secular humanist approach to a more inclusive spiritual Unitarian Universalism. A great place for an intern to learn about changing congregational culture. | |
| Job Description | Parish ministry: leadership, preaching, pastoral care, teaching, justice work. Areas of focus to be determined based on intern's learning needs. Interns who identify as persons of color and/or BGLTQ are encouraged to apply. | |
